Launchyourgem is a product launch platform and discovery directory for makers, indie founders, and AI tools. List your product and get an SEO-ready launch page with AI-readable listings, so it can rank on Google and get cited in AI answers from ChatGPT, Claude, and others. Collect upvotes and comments, earn a dofollow backlink that compounds your domain authority over time, publish product blogs on Premium, and get more visibility with paid ad placements or Rank Your Gem. ### Is Launchyourgem free to use? Yes. Browsing, upvoting, and commenting are free, and every product can launch on the Free plan for $0. Premium launches, ad placements, and Rank Your Gem are optional paid upgrades. Premium is a one-time fee, and ad placements are paid one month at a time. ### How do I get started? Create an account with Google or GitHub, then start a New Launch. Add your product name, tagline, description, website, logo, category, and platform details. Free launches go through review, while Premium launches go live instantly. To join the paid leaderboard, use the Rank Your Gem page. ## Launch Plans ### What's the difference between a Free and Premium launch? Free launches cost $0, require three community tasks, and are reviewed (usually 1-7 days). The dofollow product-page backlink stays only while our badge remains on your site. Premium is a one-time paid launch: it goes live instantly, needs no badge, and adds a verified tick, a product blog, a Twitter/Thread feature, priority support, and early access to new features. ### How much does a Premium launch cost? $15 one-time for the first 25 premium listings. After those slots are taken, a Premium launch is $25 one-time. There is no recurring launch subscription, and prices are in USD. ### What are the free launch tasks? Before submitting a Free launch, you need to upvote 5 products, explore 10 ranked gems, and embed our badge on your website. Only activity from the past month counts, and the badge must stay on your site to keep the dofollow backlink. ### How long does launch review take? Free launches are reviewed manually and usually go live within 1-7 days. Premium launches go live instantly after payment. Approval is at our discretion, and we may reject listings that are incomplete, misleading, or against our Terms of Service. ### What happens if my Free launch is rejected? You can update your product, fix the issue, and submit it again. If you already have another launch awaiting review, wait for that review to finish before submitting another request. ### Does Premium guarantee traffic or a higher ranking? No. Premium adds launch benefits and visibility features, but it does not guarantee upvotes, traffic, search rankings, or a specific position on any leaderboard. Organic results depend on the community and on your product. ## Backlinks & Badges ### Is the backlink dofollow and permanent? Yes. Launched products get a dofollow backlink from their Launchyourgem product page. On the Free plan, the link remains dofollow only while the Launchyourgem badge stays on your site. Premium launches keep the dofollow link without a badge. We may remove links if a listing is deleted or violates our Terms of Service. ### How does badge verification work? Go to your product's Embed Badge page, copy the badge HTML, paste it into your website, then verify it from the launch flow. We check your site for the badge. If you remove it later, your Free launch no longer meets the badge requirement for the dofollow backlink. ### What is the verified tick? The verified tick is included with the Premium launch. It appears next to your product name and signals that the listing is a verified developer launch. ## Advertising ### What are Sidebar and Center Ads? Sidebar ads appear on every page in the left sidebar. Center ads appear below the top 3 launches on the home page. Both include a permanent dofollow backlink, your logo and tagline, and click analytics. Each placement is exclusive to one advertiser per month. ### How much do ad placements cost? $79 per month for the first 5 paid slots of a placement, then $99 per month. Each booking is for one calendar month and does not auto-renew. Bookings start from the next month onward, subject to availability. ### Can I book more than one ad slot? Yes. Each slot is for one product for one month. You can book different months or both placements as long as the slot is open. The same placement and month cannot be booked by two advertisers. ## Rank Your Gem ### What is Rank Your Gem? Rank Your Gem is a paid leaderboard where you choose how much to pay, starting at $1, to move your product up the ranked gems list. Gems are ordered by total payments, so a higher total ranks higher. Ties are broken by the earlier creation date. Ranked gems get a permanent outbound link from the leaderboard, and full rules are on the Ranked Gem Rules page. ### How does repeat ranking work? If your website is already on the board, you can raise your total to any higher amount. Checkout charges only the difference between your new total and what you have already paid. The current minimum is your existing total plus $1. ### Where can I see my rank? The leaderboard has Top Ranked Gems, Today, Yesterday, and Weekly views with category filters. Your position can change as other gems raise their totals. ### Do I need an account to rank a gem? No. You do not need a Launchyourgem account to submit a ranked gem or pay for a rank. All you need is a valid, publicly accessible product website URL and the amount you want to pay. An account is only needed for features like launching a product, upvoting, commenting, or managing ads. ## Payments & Refunds ### Which payment methods do you accept? Checkout is processed securely by Dodo Payments. We do not store your full card details. Premium launches and Rank Your Gem are one-time payments, while ad placements are paid for one month at a time. ### Are payments refundable? No. All purchases are final, and we do not offer refunds, cancellations, or credits for Premium launches, ad placements, or Rank Your Gem payments, except where required by applicable law. Please review your order carefully before paying. ### Will I be charged again automatically? No. Premium launches and Rank Your Gem payments are one-time. Ad placements are one-month bookings and do not auto-renew. If you want another month, you must book and pay again. ## Support ### How do I contact support? Email hello@launchyourgem.com. Include your account email and product or payment details so we can help faster. Premium launches include priority support. ### Can I edit or delete my product after launch? Yes. You can edit your product details from your dashboard. Changing core details may require review. Deleting a product removes its public page and backlink. ## Analytics & Features ### What analytics do I get? All launches include an analytics dashboard with upvote counts, comment counts, click counts, and page views. Ad slots also include click-through analytics in your dashboard to track ad performance. Ranked Gems show click counts and total payments on the leaderboard.
