## Description

DaemonDoc keeps your README in step with your code. Connect a GitHub repo once, and every push to your default branch comes back as an updated README. No templates to fill in, no docs drifting behind the code.

## How it works

1. Sign in with GitHub and switch on a repository. DaemonDoc adds a push webhook and writes the first update straight away.
2. Push as usual. DaemonDoc reads what changed and decides whether the README needs a full rewrite or only a few sections touched.
3. The update is committed to your repo, or opened as a pull request if you'd rather review it first.

## Update modes

- **Full rewrite:** reads up to 200 files from the repo and writes the README fresh
- **Section patch:** rewrites only the sections a push affected, so the parts you wrote yourself stay put
- **Cleanup:** tidies a messy README on demand and adds nothing new

## What you get

- Direct commit or pull request delivery, set per repo
- Live logs that show every step of every run on the dashboard
- Gemini first, with Sarvam AI as the fallback, and you choose the order
- An email when a run succeeds or fails, which you can switch off

## Security

DaemonDoc changes one file, README.md, plus the webhook it adds when you switch a repo on. GitHub tokens are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM, and you can revoke access at any time from your GitHub settings.

DaemonDoc is open source under AGPL-3.0, so you can also self-host it: https://github.com/kaihere14/DaemonDoc
