Ranked Gem Rules

Rank Your Gem is a paid promotional leaderboard operated by Launchyourgem. These rules explain how rankings are calculated, how payments work, and what we expect from every submission. By submitting a ranked gem or paying to raise your rank, you agree to these rules, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

• You may submit any legitimate product or website with a valid public URL. You do not need a Launchyourgem account to rank a gem.
• You must own the website or have permission from its owner to submit it and to use its name, logo, tagline, and other metadata.
• Your website must be live, publicly accessible, and relevant to the category you choose. We may reject or remove listings that are broken, misleading, impersonating another brand, or unrelated to the selected category.
• You must be at least 13 years old, or at least 16 years old if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. If you are under the age of majority, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

2. How ranking works

• The minimum ranking amount is $1. You may choose any whole-dollar amount at or above the minimum.
• Gems are ranked by their total payments, not by the most recent payment. A higher total ranks higher. If two gems have the same total, the gem created earlier ranks higher.
• The main leaderboard shows all-time rankings. The Today, Yesterday, and Weekly views show gems created during those periods, ordered by total payments, and can be filtered by category.
• Your rank can change at any time if another gem raises its total above yours. Paying for a rank does not lock your position for any period.
• If your website is already on the leaderboard, you must raise its total to a higher amount. Checkout charges only the difference between your new total and the total you have already paid.

3. Submission and listing details

• When you submit a website, we may automatically retrieve its name, tagline, logo, and other publicly available metadata. You are responsible for reviewing the result and ensuring it is accurate.
• We may edit formatting, resize images, correct obvious errors, or remove content that violates these rules. We are not required to display a submission exactly as provided.
• A ranked gem includes a permanent outbound link to the submitted website, and we track clicks for leaderboard analytics. We may use a redirect, tracking parameters, or a sponsored link attribute.
• Each website may appear only once on the leaderboard. Duplicate submissions for the same website may be merged, rejected, or removed.

4. Payments

• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments in US dollars. The amount charged is the difference between your new total and any amount already recorded for your website.
• All Rank Your Gem payments are final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds, cancellations, credits, or prorated refunds, except where required by applicable law.
• You are responsible for any taxes, fees, or currency conversion charges associated with your payment.
• If a payment is reversed, disputed, or charged back, we may remove or suspend the ranked gem until the matter is resolved.
• Rank Your Gem purchases are one-time payments. They do not create a subscription and do not automatically renew.

5. Content and conduct rules

You may not submit or promote a ranked gem that:

• Contains malware, phishing, scams, or deceptive downloads.
• Impersonates another person, brand, or product.
• Uses a name, logo, or tagline you do not have permission to use.
• Infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other rights.
• Contains illegal, hateful, harassing, or sexually exploitative content.
• Misrepresents the product, its features, its results, or its relationship with a brand.
• Manipulates clicks, payments, or rankings through fraud, bots, chargebacks, or multiple listings for the same website.
• Violates our Terms of Service or applicable law.

6. Moderation and removal

We may review, reject, edit, suspend, or remove any ranked gem at our discretion, including listings that violate these rules or create risk for users or for us. If we remove a listing for a violation, no refund is owed. We may also adjust rankings if we discover duplicate listings, fraudulent payments, or other manipulation.

7. No guarantee of results

Rank Your Gem is advertising and promotional placement. It is not an editorial endorsement, an organic vote, or a guarantee of traffic, clicks, search rankings, sales, or any other result. We do not guarantee that a listing will remain visible, that a particular rank will be available, or that the leaderboard will be available without interruption.

8. Changes to these rules

We may update these rules from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may be announced through the Service. Your continued use of Rank Your Gem after an update means you accept the revised rules.
